On Sunday, June 16th, Coloring Lessons returns to The Lot Radio to host our annual Juneteenth Block Party. We’ll be taking over the block next to The Lot Radio, from 10am to 10pm, to celebrate our favorite national holiday. This means a joyous moment for our beautiful black people, with good music, live performances, smiling faces, and much more. The Block Party will be followed by an official After Party at Good Room just down the street! PLEASE NOTE: In the spirit of full transparency, we personally finance this free event each year out of our deep love for music, our community, and the black joy we experience in unison with all of our brothers and sisters. We shoulder all expenses, from additional infrastructure and cleanup, to the substantial $5,000 city permit fee. Therefore, any donation would be greatly appreciated and would significantly contribute to the continuation of this beloved family affair.
