Boston Chery is a Haitian-American DJ, creative director, and cultural curator reshaping nightlife through sound and intentional community. Known for genre-blending sets rooted in Afro-Caribbean bass, house, hip-hop, and global club, they’ve played stages from Boiler Room to Osheaga Festival, and held down residencies at Dumbo House, W Hotel, and NYC underground staples. As the founder of KONSA, a groundbreaking queer Haitian party, Boston Chery has carved out joyful, affirming spaces for the Haitian queer and trans diaspora. Their work moves beyond the decks—curating experiences that center Black, queer, and immigrant voices through music, movement, and visibility. With past features in Blavity, Afropunk, The Source, and more, Boston Chery is a driving force in shaping culture with both purpose and bass.
8thPath Records is an independent label and creative platform founded by DJ and cultural curator Boston Chery. Rooted in the spirit of sonic freedom and cultural legacy, 8thPath serves as a home for genre-bending artists across the African and Caribbean diasporas. The label was created to amplify voices often overlooked in traditional music spaces—centered around liberation, experimentation, and Black queer expression. Through a commitment to community and sound, 8thPath Radio was launched as an extension of the label: a global, online radio series dedicated to deepening connections between artists, listeners, and ancestral rhythm. Broadcasting guest mixes, interviews, and themed sets, the station has become a trusted space for discovery, healing, and storytelling through music. Together, 8thPath Records and Radio operate as a creative ecosystem—where music is not only heard, but felt, remembered, and reimagined.
