Amelia Holt is one of New Yorks most distinctive and interesting selectors. With a unique approach to rhythm, Holt crafts DJ sets that fuse percussive rhythms with electronic beats, transforming any dancefloor into a culture-bending, otherworldly experience. One may hear her play broken beats, deep high-octane dance, alt-techno, sharp electro, and delusional krautrock – sometimes all in the same night. Amelia holds a residency at The Lot & Kiosk Radio and has played at some of NYC’s best venues, including Good Room, Nowadays, Basement, Public Records, Nightmoves and Bossa Nova Civic Club, as well as festivals like Sustain-Release and Dripping. Recently, she also joined the programming team at the Sustain-Release Festival, where she contributes to curating a lineup that celebrates innovation and diversity in the world of electronic music. Outside the US, she’s brought her sound to Tbilisi, Mexico City, Berlin, Munich, Helsinki, Copenhagen, Lisbon, Madrid, Montreal, Sydney, Melbourne, and many more cities.
